Musings on Greenwood

So, I just got back from my vacation in Cuba. I was there for one week. It was phenomenal. Good times had by all. I post this legendary scene from The Mask as one final nod to my trip.

Lots happened while I was away. Canada is now in the midst of a federal election. I will blog on this issue and others daily. I think this election will be much more interesting than many currently predict.

The joys of being a journalist in a small city full of people who actually work for a living. I get to connect with the ordinary working-joe that every politician claims to represent.

The public is pissed off.

If you’re an Ontarian, you had to endure five years under Harper (a shameless opportunist) and eight years under McGuinty (a clueless eunuch).

Changes are coming. Whenever the public is sour at all politicians, incumbants catch the flak.

We’ll see how this pans out. More to follow…
